I am a retired insurance broker and started trading several years ago, mostly swing trading. Although I spend on average no more than 2 or three hours a day on this activity, I believe it must be taken seriously to have any chance of consistent success. Last year was my first full 12 months which produced a reasonable result (ie positive > inflation) and I decided to re-engineer my trading before continuing. Starting again now... By the way, I live in Spain which is not a bad place from which to trade peacefully.
